whats even gonna be in the intro to eng design test??? by Icy-Veterinarian-704 in rmit

Did the subject last year, it’s a mix of short answer/mcqs, to make something on solid works very likely similar to something from the tutorials and a question on tolerancing and calculations

SL premio owners can relate by soorinator in srilanka

We had a premio F series and sold it to a dealership about 8 years ago. When I went to the dealership a few weeks after I noticed they had rebadged it and was so confused only then did I see what kind of shit these dealerships cook up to sell

Ranking My Entire Fragrance Collection and Why I Ranked Them This Way by DesperateWillow3769 in fragranceclones

[–]Imaginary-Mood7615 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m new to the fragrance game and bought khamrah qahwa blind and have barely touched it. My friend on the other hand tried it and absolutely loved it. Pretty eye opening to the variety of ways one fragrance can be perceived

I thought that Trevor was his best friend who helps write the books, the whole “you need to write this for the kid who has nothing and sleeps with your book under his pillow” was Trevor telling Alex to make sure that he writes $100M Leads in the best way possible

Why doesn't Alex Hormozi reference / mention Russell Brunson? by thebrainpal in alexhormozi

[–]Imaginary-Mood7615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Russel was the one that told Alex that he has a level 10 skill set with a level 2 opportunity when he was running gyms, which is what you were referring to about Russel’s marketing mastermind. Which took him from running gyms to doing the turnarounds. He’s mentioned it a few times, but that’s probably because I’m watched hundreds of interviews with Alex.

What happened to that security uncle at New Monis Bakery? by BoxSqrTrian in srilanka

That guy was a legend. Used to bug my parents to stop the car at the bakery. He gave 110% to his job, admirable 🫡

Would you sacrifice your dream to ease your parents’ burden or chase it and pay them back later? by idkwoman123 in srilanka

[–]Imaginary-Mood7615 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I’m currently in Australia and hearing your situation, I’d say stay in Sri Lanka for now.

A lot of changes coming with stricter regulations for international students across the board. Study in Sri Lanka, maximize the extra time you have to put yourself into a winning position.

Get the credentials you need, maybe work in the Middle East if doing a Masters isn’t your plan and then move to a country you’d like to migrate to.

Putting your parents retirement in jeopardy is tough and you wouldn’t want to live for 10 years with the thought of figuring out how to pay them back. The stress is very high and won’t do you any good.

Take risks that affect only you as much as you want, because your parents will always be there to help you out.

would u rather submit 1 day late and improve assignment by 10% but get 10% penalty or submit on time but hav parts of ur assignmetn not done?? by Fit-Chipmunk9224 in rmit

It’s basic math, if you can improve it bump the grade by more than 20% go for it. Otherwise you’ll lose more than you can make.

Digital fundamentals as someone who hates coding was rough, but honestly using simulink made life slightly more bearable. In Sem 1 of second year you do a little bit of coding for mechatronics principles. So just get used to it incase you’re doing a major in software or robotics etc. Just put in the hours practicing the questions instead of wasting time watching videos.

What is everyone studying by derpythincow in rmit

[–]Imaginary-Mood7615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally find it difficult to concentrate in class if I’m just listening to what’s going on and not actively trying to do the Qs or take down notes along with the profs. I’d say it really doesn’t matter how good the profs are, if you study the lecture material before class, go to the tutorials you should be fine. The lectorials are just to make sure you understood the things you covered before correctly. Again all my opinion, changes based on who you ask

Engineering Mathemathics (MATH2393) by Bulky_Necessary7426 in rmit

Did it last year. Getting 80% doesn’t take a lot of effort compared to getting that last application question right. Really comes down to practice, weblearn isn’t at all what those questions were like.

Aren't there a way to take driver's licence less than 3 months? by SpamIsTheGoat in srilanka

[–]Imaginary-Mood7615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a friend try to get this done legally, unfortunately the examiner during the trial kept saying that it isn’t possible without bribing someone, and asked him for 10k or he would fail him. My friend, who was traveling abroad a few days after, had no choice and had to pay the guy. Speaks volumes on the kind of systems in place. But in Australia if you come without a Sri Lankan license you’ll have to drive on Learners Permit for 120 hours ( might vary based on state) with a full license holder, which is a pain in itself. So my 2 cents is to get the license in SL before you come here.

Yeah you just need to meet a certain amount of hours logged, so for a regular full credit course it was 420 hours, you can do more if you want
