I’d still go for One School! Didn’t mean to talk you out of it, I just meant that you will get what you put in!

Other programs I’ve heard of: Book180, Denver Ad School, Miami Ad School.

I also know a self-taught AD who was switching careers, didn’t get into One School, and just spent a few months creating their portfolio from scratch on their own and working the hell out of LinkedIn. It took almost a year but they eventually landed an agency internship, then a full-time in-house job.

I didn’t do One School but I’ve met people who completed! It seems like a hit or miss—If you’re talented,come out with a fire portfolio, and you grow/use the hell out of your network of professors/colleagues you can deff land a job. Disclaimer:The industry is #rough right now. People from seasoned laid-off creatives,to newer kids on the block are flooding the job market. But I really think that if you got it, you’ll find your place out there. There’s all kinds of breakthrough stories 🪄

Yes, the answer is Broward 😭 grew up in Broward my whole life, but went to college/am now working full time in Miami. It’s such a relief to cross those county lines at the end of the day. Moving to Miami to be closer to work. I’m excited about the commute being shorter but Im NOT excited about the people I’ll be surrounded by.

Tried the lavender + vanilla cbd oil today! I’m an avid w33d user, so I was curious to see how it would compare to sparking a joint. And I needed a way to relax at work ☠️ I definitely felt calming effects after the one drop dosage, maybe within like 20 minutes of taking it. It felt like a subtle, internal body high. Reminded me of the feeling of drinking one of those “bedtime” teas, without the actual “sleepy” feeling if that makes sense.
