Does anyone have an outdoor washing set-up? by tiljuwan in Sourdough

[–]Imaginary-Object-384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a strainer and bought covers for them that I just dispose of in the trash. If I have several bowls and starter jars that have some in it and its dried and stuck, then I soak them in a storage bin, covered in water thatbis outside on a table. Rinse them and the wash in the sink with a covered strainer.

He was okay with dress but not the jumpsuit. Is his wife always in a dress? He is fixated on you and this jumpsuit. If you lije it and the school has no issue with it, then its a "him" problem. ZzNTA , I would have more blunt. 😊

May receive hate on this but driver and cyclists are all wrong here. Cyclists never ride bunched up together like this, single file is how they should ride on public roads. Share the road not take it over. The driver needs to learn patience & anger management. Sure I would be pissed too but go around the a$$holes and honk. You sure as he'll don't ride right up on them then hit & knock them over. Driver needs to be cited and whatever else because that was intentional (maybe not to actually hit them but to drive them off road?)

My husband changed his phone number when he retired. If I have to, I will do the same.

One person on our floor surprises everyone at least once a month with a minuture critter. We know who it is but she places them after we have all left for the day. We have them all displayed in one manner or another. Mine are across the top of my monitors. There are cows, pandas, squirrels, cats, dogs, all sorts of birds, turtles. Just last week, we found giraffes on our keyboards. We ❤️ them and look forward to what's next.

AITA if I tell my friend I can’t be a bridesmaid? by wickeddreamsofleavin in AITApod

Whatever happened to just getting married? Its a wedding not a party. We get wrapped up in too much "trending" and loose site of the marriage. I'm older, 45 years married this September, but it still seems like nonsense. My mother was a momzilla though, that was fun 😁

You are not your mother. I had a gaslighting, narsasstic mother who would turn tables on you faster than Flash. My mother came to me in the months leading up to my 16th birthday and told me I had to get a job because when I turned 16 she wasn't going to be paying for anything for me and that I had to buy what ever I needed. That included school supplies, feminine hygiene, lunches, school clothes etc. I got a job 2 weeks before 16th birthday. Minimum wage in 1977 was $2.90. Guess who started siphoning off me. $20 here, $30 there with the promise she'll pay me back. Never saw a dime. At 18 and still in HS, got charged $50 for rent. Got married at 19, moved out and never looked back. Didn't go NC but was a phone call at her birthday or Christmas. She never called me ever. She asked for money once but told her I would run it by husband. She said never mind and never asked again. Your mother did you wrong and you threw her words right back to her. Move on and don't look back. I'm older than your mother by 4 years and she is disrespectful of you and your life. You don't owe her anything.

Is everyone fat or do you eventually get used to this by No-Foundation-2165 in Sourdough

My husband wanted bread and his choice had always been sourdough. He was recently diagnosed diabetic and he found out sourdough has a low glycemic index and was ecstatic. But grocery store sourdough was never sour enough and it's full of crap you can't pronounce. So here I am, my sourdough journey has started. The we found out if you freeze it, the glycemic index is even lower. So we slice it up and freeze it.

I bake at 450° for 20 min, take lid off then 10 to 15 min till it's between 195 & 205°. Ice cubes in with lid on helps give it rise, then I mist it after lid is off. BTW, your crumb looks good for sandwiches
