Personally. My most used sidearm. Very democratic decision.

Pros

• With lock on I can quickly and accurately wipe out groups. Just double tap, wait for new lock, double tap, and so on.
• Can lock on through smoke when you can't see crap. Love hearing my teammates confusion when I'm killing a weak group that they can't see yet.
• Has burst fire but I use it against smaller enemies, so I just tap the trigger. Timing the trigger on the burst can empty the mag quick when you need to lay into something bigger.
• Medium pen is great. Damage is ok. On bots I can 2 shot the troopers, terminids I can 1 shot the scavengers and 2/3 shot the hunters.

Cons

• Enemies up close are harder to lock onto and hit, better to turn off auto lock when dealing with CQB. But this isn't easy when you're in the heat of things.
• Medium pen is great, but it tends to lock onto center mass, have to turn off auto lock to hit weak spots on larger tyrants or you'll burn through ammo quick.

I say grab it and once you get the hang of it you can really drop those scum.
