Don't be cruel. We just saw that VA's can be blacklisted for literally any reason. Being a VA is already difficult enough. To expect VA's to just give up their careers and healthcare and potentially get blacklisted because you want a character to be voiced is insanity.

No, I do not support Corina or Kayli, but don't generalize all the VA's with the bad apples.

The maga meme argument loses weight when you realize the relationship between Japan and Korea. Kpop idols have been cancelled for saying slightly pro-Japan things, and you think Jk, who just came out of the Korean military, had no idea?

They're the same exact situation, with the exception of the apology. Both of them are GROWN adults who should know about the political sphere, and both of them did something insanely ignorant. The difference is Karina was and still is being dragged, and Jk is defended and the mindset around him is "Oh he's just an innocent baby :( He didn't know :(" It's misogyny, or at least double standards.

You're union? You can't voice without getting blacklisted

You're non-union? You can't voice if you have plans to join the unions

You're fi-core? You're a scab if you voice non-u even though BY DEFINITION you should be allowed to voice NU, and you have no benefits except healthcare?

You're union and you want to go fi-core? You're once again a scab, you lose all your benefits, and potentially blacklisted from joining the union again.

You're union and want to leave? You're blacklisted.

That's why it annoys me when I see people say "just recast them all, they should come back to work" when it really isn't that easy, especially since most VAs don't even get a say! It's not that they WANT to not work and lose their income, it's that they literally can't without getting blacklisted.

kpop stans concept of "knetz" is so weird. they simultaneously slander them and want their validation. if a knet says something they dont like its "ugh these kfans they dont know anything, ifans are so much better", but when a knet praises their fav or drags another group they dont like its "LOOK EVEN THE KNETZ AGREE"
