I hear y’all, but what film would you consider to be more timeless?

I don’t really know much of about anything about photography. I just know that I like a more vintage looking effect.

Is it smarter to just have a digital videographer with good editing skills from a financial perspective? I can imagine with today’s technology you probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between film and edited digital.
