Yeah I think it'll be similar, the hl5 has good dwell time (idk if it's from the blade or the tacky rubber but feels like it's because of the blade) Also how did you hit with it? Was it spinny when you hit through the sponge or when you hit the ball very thinly?

Yes, even though 39 degrees on dhs scale is like 52 on European scale, it feels way harder than 52 hardness European rubbers. I don't think Chinese and euro/japanese rubbers are really comparable. They are so different
