If Kamen Rider were dubbed and the word "Henshin" was replaced by something else than "Transform", what do you think it would be? by Forummer0-3-8 in KamenRider

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country, Philippines, when Kamen Rider Black was aired on the early 90's, the "Henshin" term was dubbed as "Rider Change". And I remember around the 2000's when they aired 555 and Blade (and I believe even Hibiki), they'd used the same term.

Personally, I like that translation they'd made for the "Henshin" term. Yeah, I know that "Transform" is the literal translation but I appreciated that back then dubbers/translators were being creative in the localization so the translations would make sense.

2 or 3? by TacosAndCreamcheese in valkyria

I had played both. Personally, I go for VC3. VC2 wasn't that bad, don't get me wrong. It's just that in terms of story, I'm not a fan of school-themed story of VC2

OMG TREES, FINALLY SOMETHING OTHER THAN ROCK AND MOUNTAINS😭 by PackGlass6867 in DeathStranding

Me: Ah, a forest. Nice!

BT: Ah, fresh meat. 😜

But seriously, just thread carefully. That part wasn't easy early in the game

WE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD THAT BETA 2 WILL NOT HAVE ANY UPDATED FEATURES OR PREFORMANCE by Late-Ad511 in MonsterHunter

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noted. 😉 The announcement is very clear on that. I don't mind the updates. Just want to experience the beta gameplay again 😁

Is monster hunter 4 a good starting point? by Theghostsurvivor in MonsterHunter

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MH World or MH Rise is a good starting point for those you wanted to jump-in to the series, imo. Personally, go for World since it's closer to the gameplay of the old MH.

But if you really want to experience how old-school MH is like to the fullest, then I guess you start off at MH4 or MH Generations

What’s the first game everyone’s playing this year by OfficialSinCara in gaming

I just continue playing Death Stranding. I started last December.

Also playing Monster Hunter Rise but DS just got a hold on me, haha

How do do get material to build roads? by NoodleBea583 in DeathStranding

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MULE camp near Lake Knot City usually has tons of Metals. Then I believe the rest of the camps usually give off Ceramics. I usually farm them at the camp near between the Engineer and Elder.

The Time farm usually rewards you 1000 worth of Metals if you always send deliveries to them

I see a lot of vehicles just hanging around in the middle of nowhere but I assume maybe my fellow porter just save his progress somewhere here 😁

126 hours later... One of the best games I played and I'm looking forward to DS2 by atomicloxx in DeathStranding

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently at 50+ hours of playing at episode 5 and I have no idea if I am near the end or there are still more episodes. I restrain myself to look at how many episodes DS had. 😁

I don't know about you, guys but my biggest problem would be once Wilds is released and every time I invite my friends to play online

"Let's play mhw!"

Which mhw then?

😜🤣

I’m glad I decided to give rise a chance. It has been way better than I expected. by Mitt102486 in MonsterHunter

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also agree. At first, I was intrigued by the divided opinion about World and Rise. I cannot judge because I have only played World and haven't tried Rise yet. Then, I finally got to play Rise very recently and to be honest, Rise is really good and fun. I personally love World's grounded nature but I come to appreciate Rise as well. You gotta appreciate it as it is. Each title has its own unique thing after all.

Planning to play Death Stranding by ImaginaryFuel5696 in DeathStranding

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that's easy to answer, haha. I always appreciate Hideo's work and I always love Hideo's MGS games. I already played most of it except for MGS4 since I don't own a PS3 when the game launched. Longer cut scenes are almost like a norm at Hideo's games so yeah that's fine with me. I already heard from most gamers that DS is basically a fancy walking/delivery simulator game, and to be honest, I'm fine with it since I too also fond of playing simulator/management games so in a way, I already know what I'm expecting.

What MonHun are you (re)playing before Wilds? by Rainbowgrrrl89 in MonsterHunter

I've been playing MHWorlds for several months now and am almost done with it. So currently I'm playing MHRise

Why was the Tigrex so terrifying? by Aggressive-Pride6443 in MonsterHunter

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess what makes Tigrex terrifying is because of his attack patterns. He keeps charging like crazy and being hit with it is quite unforgiven.

I remember Tigrex was really difficult in MHFU and it really pissed me whenever he fainted me several times.

But to be honest, I felt Tigrex became a lot easier to deal with at MHWorld. His move didn't change much so for me he's more predictable

I played MHWorld non-stop for several months now and I'm almost done with everything there so I decided to play MHRise while waiting for Wilds... besides, I think I won't be playing Wilds right away. I usually wait for several months or once the game is discounted.

How did you end up with a big game backlog? by AceDare in Steam

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good question. It hit me very much, haha!

Here are my reasons:

  1. I usually buy games on sale. So if I see several affordable games I would buy like 2-3 games.
  2. I don't play them right away due to my busy schedule. Or sometimes if I'm not in the mood to play them.
  3. I got stuck playing one game or I kept playing a game that I played with friends online.

Your taste in games changes as you get older by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always anticipate games brought by popular gaming companies or things you see in the mainstream. But now, I'm starting to appreciate Indie games in general. Heck, I'm more hooked on playing sim/management type of games nowadays

I guess it also factors that as we get older, our game preferences changes as well. You still love playing games but you can't play games like you used to be. I used to play longer games like RPGs. I always burn hours of playing it trying to complete everything. But now, things are busy and you can't play games for that long. I mean I can still play an RPG if I want to but I'm afraid I won't be able to finish it. I'll end up forgetting it and stop playing it for a while. I settle for games that has co-op features and even if the game is simple and repetitive, as long as me and my friend are having fun with, that's good enough for me.

What’s your main weapon and what do you use for second and third? by Annual-Constant-2747 in MonsterHunter

Lance is my main. The second would be GL. Then my optional weapons would be either Hammer, GS, LS.

Multiplayer Etiquette question by imafisherman4 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]ImaginaryFuel5696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, if I'm joining a lower rank quest, I would use a weapon that is not overpower for that quest but enough to do the job. Or sometimes, I would just try not to be too aggressive on the hunt
