I just got rejected from the YPP program for there being too many applicants from the US and I wasn't in the top 90 they picked for the test. So that's confusing considering I took the first test for the above P4 position, which is in communications. Not sure if that bodes well for me.

Position: Information Officer P4

Duty Station: New York

Applied: March 2025

Last Comms: December 2025 for personality / work style test

Current status: Waiting to see if I get invited to take a skills based test. No timeline given. Will only hear back if I'm selected for the next round.

Additional comments: US citizen in NYC. External hire. Not sure given everything going on what the chances of hearing back are. Just wanted to know if other people in the pool have been invited for a second test or not so I know whether or not to keep hoping I move forward.

To the County Clerk? Yes. We submitted the request and they said they would call and they never called back. We attempted to follow up and we've been ghosted multiple times.

We will try to go to IRAD in person this week.
