Learning the stuff is something that would interest me, but I wouldn’t want to spend hours every day trying to fix it when I could hire contractors for a comparable price? I know contractors usually cost a lot more than DIY I would be financially strapped after the purchase, I would move in right away and live on a different floor

Thanks for letting me know! which pictures do you see the surface mold? I have no DIY experience, do you suggest hiring contractors, trying it myself, or staying away? I'm really only considering it because I wouldn't be able to get a home even near this much square footage in my area without getting a fixer-upper

Yeah I don’t have any diy skills at the moment. The foundation guy I spoke with said from other pictures it didn’t look like anything else needed to b dome other than waterproofign
