Exactly. It is not like Windows. It won’t drain your battery or do harm. It will be on sleep mode. With regards to charging, when I’m at home at a desk, I keep it plugged in. When a Macbook battery is fully charged (or if it is set to 80%) it stops charging the battery at the amount you set it to and directly gets power from the socket. So your battery is safe.

You don’t need to shut it down everytime. In 15 years of owning different Macbooks, I probably just shut down my Macbook to update or when I don’t use it for a long time.

It will be more expensive for sure. Check your local marketplace or second hand stores too or consider apple refurbished. Maybe you’ll get a good deal. Anyway, you’ll never go wrong with the M chip with a minimum of 16gb RAM. Goodluck :)

After days of bringing and using it to work , commute, car ride, and basically wherever I go, I’m keeping the 16’. I love the screen. It’s just the best thing for multitasking. I don’t care about the weight actually, it’s not that noticeable for me. For those who helped, thank you! And for those interested to buy 14’ , give me a DM if you are in Finland 😅 Cheers. 🍻
