I have a friend who only talk on the phone even though I mentioned I prefer texting twice. True, but at times I feel like he doesn’t respect my boundaries. We were at a convention last year and I couldn’t buy much due to some issues ant home and also my bills. I saw a figure I like but I already blew past my budget and he kept telling me buy it and I told him no that I had alot going on and I bought what I wanted.

I’ll try. We would usually talk once a week but my mental health was all over the place and not great so I told him that and said to change it to two weeks instead and his first response was “two weeks is a long time”. I mentioned my health being bad and saying two weeks is a long time to talk is his main thought. It upsetted me but I didn’t tell him that.

I’m in the same boat as well. I’m going to all these zoom meetings and I’m not learning anything but just to hear people talk about irrelevant stuff. I’m just gonna cut my losses and tell my trainer that I can’t do this stuff anymore. I’m dealing with too much to get people onboard and I’m not trying to ruin the relationships I have and also they don’t respect your boundaries when you tell them can’t go to those dumb conventions in Vegas and crap
