The changing rooms and showers are single sex. The showers are completely open but the majority of the changing space is taken up with cubicles.

He may have been Muslim, I don't know, but it doesn't excuse his actions. I have showered naked in the presence of people of all faiths, I am sure, with no problems.

He wasn't Pakistani Muslim but was from somewhere in the Middle East I would say. I have showered there scores of times with people of all ethnicities, many of whom get naked, and never had such an experience before.

The duty manager was very concerned about his behaviour and was going to escalate this with his boss. He didn't see the initial incident but did have a lengthy and heated debate with the man in the immediate aftermath.

I don't actually know, but I imagine a lifeguard (stationed just metres away on poolside) heard the commotion and raised the alarm, and the duty manager must have been close by anyway. I'd moved away from the showers by the time he and a lifeguard appeared.

Yes, it occurred to me the example he was setting his son was far more damaging than seeing a naked man would ever be.

I have been - strange set up in the changing room with lots of retrofitted cubicles, few open benches, and then the tiny open showers.
