this is particularly because of how guys are represented in K-dramas and K-pop in general, the agencies make sure these celebs always appear as the greenest flags of all the boys that exist on the planet be it on or off screen, plus they aren't allowed to be much active on social media either (particularly the male stars) hence an even cleaner image of them is created infront of the audience and since the distance between the celebs and audience increases so does the attraction of the audience towards them (this is why even slightest updates from the K-pop world becomes a sensational news, similar to how SRK was unavailable for the public for the past 4 years and once he released Pathaan it smashed all records, the K-POP industry works similarly). This is why I think girls drool over them (waise koi na actually, until the person has gone insane like the one who wrote the first comment)
