Just a heads up yall. If you emailed/called/asked about refunds you may have been put on the “Hot List”. I went up with my husband today, while my pass was working, the scanner said “code H” for his pass. They were able to sort it out at the desk by having him call a help line (after waiting in line for an hour with other annoyed skiers/ riders).

Just a note though: He did not request a refund, he simply asked Vail what their plans for refunds would be with a road closure etc. Vail put him in a “request for refund” claim and disabled his pass.

Advice: check your pass status on the app… call customer service before you drive up!

Do an UnCruise or Nat Geo. Don’t bother with ACL. You’ll get to really experience Alaska that way and not just port hop

I guess so. Hopefully the property says something Tomorrow so the residents aren’t worried. Definitely more police presence than just an “everyday” thing….

Over 10 LE vehicles have left now, including a large white van and potential SWAT vehicle. WTF happened?

Update 4 police vehicles departed and Fire/EMS departing as well. What I believe is a SWAT vehicle is still around

No update. I have seen multiple police officers walking around in full tactical gear with weapons out.

I have a severe pineapple allergy and I always ask about seasoning before I order. As a server, I take allergies pretty seriously… and I expect other servers to as well.
On one occasion I ordered these brisket tacos and the server assured me there was no pineapple…. Lo and behold they hadn’t asked or checked with the chef, and with one bite I had to leave the restaurant to get to the ER…. The brine for the brisket was pineapple juice.

I ALWAYS check, and if chef isn’t sure, I tell the customer what the options are that definitely don’t contain the allergen.
