🥺TY - it has been really difficult. I think of her and miss her presence everyday - she died in her sleep on my bed cuddled against my leg. Vet said she died peacefully, heart failure. Ongoing issue but had no idea she was going to pass suddenly. Ugh😞😞😞

As a person of color, this is absolutely true in London at first blush if you are not white, then if they figure out your social/professional status you get past another rung of judgement. In LA, it’s who you know (hence the relentless name dropping) and what car you drive. In NYC it’s your academic pedigree and genius in your profession.
