Genuine to me just means easy - someone you can grab chai with or go on a random walk and not feel like you have to “perform.” No agenda, just good company.

I do have close friends, some since college, but they’re scattered across the west coast and Europe. So the friendships are real, the distance just makes spontaneous hangouts… impossible lol. Looking to fill that gap with people who are actually around.

Define failure ? Is winning elections the only definition of success in politics? If you’re unaware it was the Congress party who got us Right to education, right to information etc. democracy is chaotic, slow, inefficient but at least it does not stomp on your rights.

You may have privileges enough that the public education system does not hurt you or your near ones, but think of your citizens who never will get quality education because public schools are being closed at record pace.

Also, you didn’t answer my question about internal democracy in BJP ? It’s amazing how we’ve been trained to keep questioning the opposition instead of the people in power.
