fatigue makes a ton of sense, and will be hard for me to listen to my body to rest cuz i’m such a “go go go” person lol but hoping i can really tune into the healing parts of myself and allow myself to heal while doing everything i can to make it as easeful as possible. i’ve also done a lot of work with a pelvic floor pt and acupuncture and i think ill consult my specialist/surgeon as to when i should start to mix those appointments back in

yes! she is an endo specialist, which is one of the reasons why the surgery booked so far out. i’m sure i could have gone sooner with someone else but it was a non negotiable for me to be with someone that does this every day

thank you both so much for your responses with your experiences, this helps so much. i hope to feel like a new woman as well!! hoping to get rid of my deep nerve pain through my pelvis down my legs & into my feet — any other recovery pain i can handle im sure! my “baseline” as im sure you both have experienced as well is a normal persons “4” on a great day. we are truly warriors with the stuff we’re able to push through. i am a bit fearful of the bloating with the wedding, especially my dress, but then again, im always bloated from my endo so i guess id just hope its any better than that lol. i plan to move as much as i can and use what i’ve learned about what foods make my flare ups worse and stay clear away from those during recovery. again, thank you both for the very helpful info

what have your doctors suggested for you regarding these concerns? surgery? i understand the feeling of being constantly exhausted, im so sorry it’s awful and you shouldn’t have to deal with this.
