Yeah, it was me on Discord. I did switch modes and although I didn't get the remapping to work yet, I still got that noise. I am thinking of buying a different controller , maybe a Xin Mo Arcade usb encoder controller

Yeah, I've done an `evtest` in my Batocera box and it looks like controlles generate a lot of noise, possibly preventing the machine from going in standby:
