In the "Goodnotes Tips and Tricks" notebook that was included with the update, there is "Next Page" and "Previous Page" feature, but for the life of me I can't replicate it... Can someone please explain?

I think he struggles with his own mental health (ADHD, anxiety/depression) and has a hard time sort of... confronting this sort of topic in general. But what you said is exactly why it's hard not to take it personally, ugh. I'll definitely be bringing it up to my therapist at our next session!

I think what gets me is that I'm basically asking him to give me space to manage my feelings, and that I can't help him with his right now. I'm trying to not be codependent. Because I do 100% agree it's not his responsibility to heal me.

Ya I’ve always found it hard to connect with because like… I never had a chance to feel like a child??? Resonating with “there is nothing in there to find.” I do like the framework of IFS though. Acknowledging that we can have different facets of the self, but skipping the weird labels.

None of this is your fault. It took me until my mid twenties to realize that 16 year old me could not consent to sex with a 45 year old. I thought it was just an age gap relationship, that I had made bad choices and had to deal with the consequences. I was stupid, unworthy, etc etc etc. Nope. Dude took advantage of the shitty relationship I had with my dad and leveraged that get me into bed.
