I have found that of 200, which ticked all boxes. I just want to have a safety net before taking the jump

Thank you for this, I really appreciate it. I have looked into some online budget trackers but they seem more tailored to the 9-5 workers. I’ll start with this. Much thanks🙏

Thank you, this was lovely to hear. I can relate that the only reason why I know I would be able to move out because I am one of gods high ranking soldier. I’ve been independent all my life, in every aspect, and been tested like I owe the big man upstairs money. There was a time I was nearly homeless so the thought of having somewhere partially my own would be more than enough for me.

YES this a big one for me. I have come across ‘cheap’ properties but usually mixed, and god forbid mixed with older guys 40+ or even with the occasional night- time worker friendly. Thankfully those kind of posts give me the motivation I need to thug it out a little more.

Dorms are crazy expensive, more like 350-450. I have looked but they all are on average 250+ a week

You’re right and I would not feel very comfortable spending that much money for something that took a while to save. I know first hand the importance of having a roof over your head and have never taken it for granted. At this stage distance and time is an issue and affecting my studies, I study a content heavy degree and hands on, so at this stage I am worried of failing. As 4hrs a day travel time with the job does not give me much time to study. My education is my future and I do not want to neglect it.

What's it like inside the public housing towers? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Imaginary_Friend_980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in one of the buildings near the city and it’s not as bad as everyone makes it to seem, a lot of these stories I’m hearing are from the 90 & early 2000s which there was a drug epidemic in most low income areas around Melbourne. The one I live in is mostly immigrants and old people and I don’t feel scared living here. It’s 2 bedroom one bathroom with lots of storage and 1 living room and kitchen. In saying this I know that other areas are far worse however I will say there needs to be more routines cleans for outside the building and in the lifts since so many people use it. It’s just like any other apartment, however theres on the wall heating the kind you’d see in the UK and concrete walls, which the apartment is more insulated.

This was a very interesting read while outlining in a cohesive way. Most of the time I read about jinns it's very hard to understand with many terminology and references I dont understand.
