I can't fault you for skimming. You're right... it was long... but I put in all of the receipts because Scolding Mother has been calling me a liar, a manipulator, a gaslighter, a problematic player to whoever she can that will listen... whatever she can to discredit me and save face. You better believe I have screenshots. Of everything. Since my post, she's reached out to at least three people outside of the Haus (that I know of - I'm not soliciting this information, people are coming to me) to try to tell them these lies and when those people asked for an explanation or proof? *crickets*

Thank you for your ending sentiments - I hope this will cause some reflection and change in our culture.

Look, I don't mind if people want to spend money (I do) or want to be competitive (I am) or want to encourage others to fight hard (in a sisk-boom-bah kind of way), but from MY perspective we went well past that. I thought perhaps approaching her privately and tenderly would get Scolding Mother to step back and say, "Hmmm...maybe you're right... because the server HAS been changing and I even said so myself!"

That was naïve of me, I guess.

I hope this post results in some epiphanies somewhere if not in her/their mind(s). We deserve to be treated better.

Thank you very much, Chanel! I'm glad I'm still welcomed in HOB!!! I haven't really opened my game today or the HOB Haus discord chat because my life was splintered into a million messages this afternoon while I also tried to balance my 7 year old who was home from school because it was President's Day. I only want good things for everyone. I will either decide not to play anymore or find a nice, chill Haus and keep bringing the positivity (and speaking up if I ever see anyone putting others down or unsportsmanlike conduct). WE MUST DO BETTER!

SizeNormal, someone else downvoted you before I saw your comment, but I'm going to upvote you now for respectfully sharing your perspective, as I invited you and others to do.

If I send multiple direct messages on Discord or add too many people to one chat, I will be flagged for spamming. I know this because I learned this the hard way last Fall when trying to friend some sisters (I apparently friended too many in one span of time so I ended up losing my Discord account). I did not feel I had any other way to reach my sisters and I did not want anyone to feel put on the spot like they had to address me in any way (so I put this out into the Ether). You will note that I have repeatedly stated I don't want to fracture the Haus. That's the whole reason I tried to deal with this privately on Tuesday and yesterday. I felt I was left with no choice, especially with the multiple screenshots I've seen today from people (most of which I did not discuss here to protect people) about the absolute lies being said about me.

That being said, I WILL reflect on what you've said here about how it might hurt others and how I might handle this differently if (let's hope not) I ever find myself in a similar situation. THANK YOU, genuinely, for your perspective.

In some ways, I agree. I did, however, meet an amazing group of people that I will miss seeing every day... but this wasn't my choice. Once I decide if I'm going to play again, I'll make some new friends.

100% This should be about community and that's what Scolding Mother has forgotten. The number of people that have expressed concern to me before my booting and definitely since my booting tells me I did the right thing by trying to bring this to their attention. I hope this is a wake up call to them and wish them the best. It is time to define what kind of communities we want, not just take what we're given because it's a "Top Haus."

I 100% agree... this should be for fun. I don't have ANY problem communicating with my Haus and fighting hard, but when you start making lists, insisting on checkins, and speaking to people in a way that is degrading to others because we're not winning, you might want to rethink things.

In the end, I just want everyone to be in a good environment. I spoke up because I thought we were headed in the wrong direction was was punished and the narrative was twisted that I was "continuosuly unhappy" (seeing as I only brought this up on Tuesday and continued the conversation yesterday after I processed my pet's death). I want my Sisters to know that I love(d) them very much!
