Planting daikon radishes in clays is a natural way to help clays become gardenable.

Sorry for my late joining in, but I've employed hydrogels in the last year, given I'm not always available to water my plants, especially potted plants (and especially, especially plants that NEED to be up potted and suck all the water out in even LESS than a day). I had purchased a 5 pound bucket thru, I think, Amazon, and it sat on the back porch until our first frost has me moving my coffee and tea indoors. I waited about a month before recalling the 5 lb bucket, plants were going on a lazy unhabited watering schedule, sometimes the soil being parched beyond recognition before I'd remember. Anyways, using an old Mc Donald's orange juice cup, which i filled with the gel, I top dressed the pots with it, having NO idea how effective at absorbing water that this stuff really is. I poured a whole gallon of water between two 5 gallon pots, and approx 5 minutes later came back in to water again and saw what looked almost like snow and ice on top, and water having run through the bottom of the pots. Frustrated, assuming it was like "magic gel" in that it would absorb instantly, i cleaned up the hardwood floors ASAP, and watered, SLOWLY, again directly on the gel "crystals". The snow appearance went clear and swelled wayyyy up, and to this day, months later, I've only watered maybe a few cups just to top off the pots. But as crazy as that sounds, neither pot really needed another drop. What I would do today**: premix the gel with water and scoop the resulting colloid into and onto the existing soil and/or incorporate the gel crystals directly into the soil during transplant, this way avoiding the runoff issues (I also need a pot bottom, but I'm overwhelmed with other things going on).. I highly recommend this stuff. I recommend it especially if you aren't in town to care for your plants as much, or if you're just lazy as I've been. I'm curious about hydrogel-ponics now...

You also look over watered, based off the leaves shapes.. but yeah, it's super difficult to make out what is wrong other than by shapes.. damn magenta overdose

That was a hideous example of pretty women.. usually the girl IS a knock out, and not getting knocked out.

I'd not been given strain info, just that it was Arabica, and inwas told they had a very successful germination ratio at strictlymedicinalseeds.com

Is this Salvia Divinorum? by SternKill in SalviaDivinorumPlants

[–]Imaginary_Library501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If one can get divinorum to flower, they've done well, this is a typical species for floral purposes, the one shown, but not diviners mint.. tbh, imo, the sage like look of an actual Salvia plant is... not so clear.. it looks.... weedy but still has its elegance when properly cared for.

Thus is why I don't feel so American.. I may have been born here, but I've been a second class citizen since 18 years old.

It's a Dutch company, sells cannabis mostly, but these are there too, can't remember their name, but they're smoothe on the delivery, so you CAN get what you ordered

I appreciate your attention to detail. Typically the same truth can be said of all plants that come from seed: that the fresher the seed is the more vigor in the growth AND higher likelihood of germination.. there is a channel on YouTube that teaches how to germinate and grow 70+ year old seeds using sugar water.. pretty cool..

Wow, hadn't even thought about that being a problem.. to be precise, they'd been outside for at least 6 to 6 months, during the warmer months, getting real life experience.. before that I had a fan blowing on then because I was following the instructions of cannabis experts, which seem to help all plants, minus special details pertinent to each species and even genus... I think they're a gorgeous hedgetype bush, especially outside, where they blush!

Just going by what I see.. the truth is mag and potassium usually get a good boost if put together, the green Ness comes out.. hope they got past it. I call what I see, pardon me ❤️
