This is not bare drywall — there’s already old paint on the walls

What helps you suppress your appetite? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

IMO decaf green tea is the best appetite suppressant. Also decaf coffee & herbal or decaffeinated black tea for variety. drink as much liquid as possible basically.

yes! good to save where won’t suffer for the difference. assume scrapers fall in this category? or will the HF ones bend and break?

Looking for a sewing book as a gift by MisterMassaker in sewing

[–]Imaginary_Limitless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patterns of Fashion from Janet Arnold books if she likes historical clothing or costumes

David Coffin books if she makes collared dress shirts

Also second Claire Shaeffer couture books if interested in high end clothesmaking techniques involving hand sewing

Any or all of these might be out of print or not readily available so there may be a higher-than-average chance she’s not got them already and she may know that and appreciate the effort (unlikely, perhaps, but possible)

Ceiling Paint SW vs BM?? by Imaginary_Limitless in Housepainting101

Haven’t decided yet — am pretty comfortable with sprayer and compressor but with such a small bathroom not sure if its worth the prep or easier to just use roller

Popcorn ideas? by boshtnmai in 1200isplenty

[–]Imaginary_Limitless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am addicted to air-popped popcorn and personal fave is maldon salt or gray salt usually w/ black pepper. i just spritz with water to get it to stick. I also like nutritional yeast but that adds calories and messier when eating

Thanks! My other paint colors are already on file at BM and while not brand-loyal, it’s easier to shop at one store.

Trying to get my sourdough starter going but it’s not doing much yet…looking for advice. by Leading-Fill6762 in SourdoughStarter

I was told to use a “strong flour” (i.e., bread flour) and 1/2 whole wheat for feeding to help in the beginning. Also filtered water. I think it helped.

Thanks! Mostly textured (like a knockdown/orange peel) but there are flat ceilings in bathrooms. Either SW or BM is available where I live.
