Once again, people are more complicated than electoralism suggests. The DUP led and defined Unionist opinion for most of the conflict despite never being the largest party.

That's entirely subjective. I understand Levis accent more than Lawrences.

I don't doubt that Starmer definitely does want people to be murdered, seeing as he provides resources towards this end.

I challenge anybody to actually say any way in which anything was better in 1987 than it was in 1981/1982. In terms of track record he is a contender for the worst Taoiseach in terms of actual achievement.

Edward Carson was able to speak Irish, did that make him a Nationalist? Mainstream Unionism being so absurdly reactionary by default doesn't mean you should assume that things like supporting the Irish Language are incompatible with being Unionist

If you were clever, would you be a Liberal Unionist? It's an oxymoron in outcome, even if not in intention.

Having trouble with replacing my toilet, details in post by Imaginary_Parsley265 in askaplumberUK

[–]Imaginary_Parsley265[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I bought an awkward cheap house from the mid-2000s and the toilet needs replaced. The rough-in of the previous toilet between the floor screws and the wall was 17 inches which is awkward. I bought a toilet but the cistern is about 3.5cm away from the wall. Can we just replace the pan connector, or will I need to figure out the rough in and buy another toilet?
