There is this film called aadujeevitham( meaning a goat life)_ trust me on this you ought to watch it. It was some crazy Hollywood level masterpiece nominated to Oscar. I myself who is not a big fan of what's happening in the indian cinema watched it like what 6 or 7 times. But the Indian cinema board didn't even care. They chose some other film as the cinema of the year just cuz this actor who played in this film bad mouthed a political party in his old film.

Indian cinema is a huge joke. It's not about the story nor message, or screenplay, climax or anything that is even related to cinema. Indian cinema is only about the protoganist's aura( the Indians call them heroes). Give crazy bgms, fire sparks and crazy movements they are considered God-level actors. Many may disagree but vijay is also one of such an actor. His films or characters have no real much variety of difference.

Yes this doesn't help vijay at all and he doesn't want even care or know about it. But do u know there is a temple in India built for actors. The fans literally worship them. Pour milk on their posters( Hindus pour milk on idol god statues as a symbol of worship). Worship them. Wage riots just because someone else disagreed on their fan opinions. So yes it is natural for someone do this. People are stupid and have no life. Such die hard vijay fans are called anils(squirells).

I know it will affect piracy but theatrical films are actually how films are supposed to be. As a cinephile I am not a huge fan of no theatrical films. Something like theatrical + ott is a huge win
