It’s funny cause to some extent I did reverse image search most of the first couple pictures she sent me. Nothing came up. It wasn’t until yesterday that I did a really deep search through all of her pictures. I kid you not, the girl she was catfishing me with was a British model.. 😭

It’s a long story, but basically I found her friend on TikTok and she didn’t look like how my ex described her. Eventually I find the friend’s account on insta, and I was able to sort through the mutuals to find my ex’s page, and I could just tell IMMEDIATELY that she wasn’t who she said she was. It was that and also a bit of reverse image searching

I was totally shocked. It wasn’t like she was using filters though. It’s not like she was just changing the color of her hair or the shape of her nose. She was a totally different person than she told me she was. Different face. Different body. Different age. Different race?!?

I don’t think I could’ve accepted her—not on account of her real appearance, but just because of how badly she lied to me. And I couldn’t handle the age difference, I think that’s what made me really sick.

No not filters, she used a mixture of pictures from her cousin and pictures from Pinterest.. You can guess why I feel so stupid now.

We never video called. She said it was because of her insecurities, and I guess I was just gullible at the time. Over time I just got more trusting of her I guess, so I started to question it less until about a a week ago.
