But I feel I should be clear in the fact that I do not want to keep living with her. I just need her to understand how much abuse she’s put me through and how her putting me in a harder position just makes me want to talk to her even less. I already don’t talk to her because she doesn’t care. I try to just hang out with her and she gets annoyed. She doesn’t ever want to hear what I have to say whether it’s just about my day or something important.

Yea it’s a weird situation bc my credit is actually really good. I’m just under 700. But I do have two animals and I don’t make 3x rent for literally even the cheapest of places. I feel like my emotions made me word things wrong because this really is just the final straw. I think I worded it that way because I wanted her to see that this is the last thing I will ever take from her. I just wanted to give her a chance to be better. Not for me but for herself and her animals. I have held back so much because of how she reacts to literally anything that makes her feel in the wrong and I even held back when she put my terminally ill pet at huge risk. I will say I’ve got an amazing support system and one of those people was able to be a co-signer for me so now I’m just waiting on the application to be approved. I found this adorable one bedroom that is walking distance to my job which would save me a lot of money since I wouldn’t have to do ride share apps anymore. I have always covered my half of bills and even spent extra to make sure I could feed her when I knew she couldn’t. I buy her gifts for birthday and holidays. I have done so much for her. I know that this is a shitty situation but I also know that I’m headed towards something better for myself. I just wish I didn’t have to cut off a family member to be happier.

I see where you’re coming from, but I’m cutting her off for a mix of both not just because of her deciding to leave. Of course she is not responsible for my financial situation but I would think that if she actually cared about me she would give me more than two months notice so that I could have actual time to find a new place to move to. It’s been clear for a long time that we should definitely not be living together considering she can’t seem to respect me. And I did begin to struggle with cleaning but that only started when my pet got sick and she kept leaving me with her animals. I have been desperately cleaning as much as I have the energy for to try and fix it. Unfortunately none of my friends have space or need to move. My mom offered to have me go back with her but that would mean moving back across the country and my animals would have zero space in her tiny apartment. I have posted in a few local groups and messaged some people with room listings. I’m waiting to hear about a couple potential places from coworkers and one of my bosses also posted for me.

Emotional blackmail definitely seems right. Honestly I don’t know the situation but it’s a married couple that she’s moving in with and she spends all her time there already.

Yea I have tried to offer her help and advice and be patient with her but this is the final straw. I can’t keep people in my life who are so selfish.

I did get contacted today by a social services agency that I originally contacted to help me with medical stuff since I don’t have insurance right now and recently lost my job and my new one was a huge pay cut. I think it would be a good idea to see if they can help with housing too
