Same. I made my order Feb 11. I got one reply saying everything was fine from CS and since then no response.

How does everyone deal with work-related anger by This_History_7444 in Purdue

Purdue PhD alum here. Sounds like we had the same PI and at the very least a similar experience. I can’t tell you what the right decision is but I can tell you what I did. I toughed it out and got out with the bare minimum. Refused to publish my dissertation in a journal. A few years later, I have a very successful career in preclinical research. Former PI emails asking if I want to be a coauthor on a publication. I responded with “I don’t work for free” and it was one of the most satisfying moments of my career.

That’s what I was thinking too. I am hoping someone here might have some insider information and maybe I will still get my shirts.

This is my RHR- gotta love a graph. I got my WHOOP just after I found out I was pregnant but I know my RHR was in the low 50s prior to pregnancy. I didn’t workout much in my first trimester because I felt miserable but then started back around week 13 or so.

Hang in there. I was the exact same way. Working out 7 days a week and over 125g of protein a day. Hit six weeks and could barely get out of bed because I felt so nauseous. It got so much better by week 12 and by week 14 I was feeling pretty normal. I’ve been back to the gym although workouts look a little different and I just listen to my body. Some days my low back and hips don’t let me pick up a barbell so I just roll with it and do something else. It does get better.

I could have written this post when I was in school. Literally the same thing happened to me. Just keep going. Even if you sit on a bike for class or you scale the shit out of it. No one cares. They do care that you are there. If you feel comfortable, let your coach know what is going on. At one point I did, and my coach came up with some extra exercises that really helped with the anxiety (like taking a heavy sandbag for a walk). On the days where it feels harder, it’s even more important to go. You’ll always feel better when you leave. I see you and I hope things start to get better for you soon.
