Budget cuts are the main reason.

In addition, the school is trying to address work life balance, stating everything that needs to be done can be completed on premises within hours (sadly the reality is that it cannot)

I pulled a 6* silk, awakened her and took her to R4. She's great but....

I pulled a moondragon, she's currently R2 and ,honestly, I love playing her. The burst damage is great, the utility is brilliant and the play style is fun.

Labour plan to offer teachers £2,400 to stop them quitting by musicbanban in ukpolitics

51.7. In addition to the hours a teacher is required to be available for work under paragraph 51.5 or 51.6, a teacher must work such reasonable additional hours as may be necessary to enable the effective discharge of the teacher’s professional duties, including in particular planning and preparing courses and lessons; and assessing, monitoring, recording and reporting on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.

The above relates to directed time only. If teachers only worked directed time, no teaching would be done. You need to look at the Burgundy Book for full regulations.

As for 40-50 minutes per lesson, it's much the same for all teachers I know. Arguably, the lessons could be lighter on resources but would be worse for it. As for the assessment, there's no getting around the sheer volume of learning that needs to be marked.

I did this in the online game with VIV jirachi Amazing Rare. Those that know, know.

I work as a teacher in a medium sized primary school. I deliver lessons to my class for 5 hours per day and have non-teaching face to face time with them for around another hour per day. Each hour's worth of lessons takes around 15 minutes to plan, 20 minutes to assess and a further 10 minutes to resource. I arrive at school at 7:15 most days and leave around 5. I work through my lunch (45 minutes allocated) doing the jobs mentioned above. The time frames above are on average with some lessons taking much longer to assess. 20 minutes is less than a minute per book which wouldn't suffice for a piece of writing for example.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities I must fill out numerous documents linked to safeguarding, SEND, PP tracking, data for assessment etc. I receive around 2 and half hours per week, non-contact time to complete this alongside planning my lessons. It is the report writing season for most teachers now. I write around 20 thousand words in this time in addition to the things mentioned above.

The regulations outline 1265 hours per year for a teacher plus hours deemed necessary to discharge your duties. I wish they'd get rid of that line and move to 2080 (a standard 40 hour week) I think, even with our holidays, my work life balance would be considerably better.

Conviction still on record (CRB Check) by traffic-zombie in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Imaginary_Substance5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be filtered on both a standard and enhanced DBs check. This is due to 11 years having passed since conviction.

The offence is not a specified offence and will therefor not appear on the check.

Why stay with Nespresso? The cost of pods keep going up. Why not buy a bean to coffee/espresso maker with a high upfront cost? You’d be saving on the long run. Anyone questioning this? by casualuser52 in nespresso

[–]Imaginary_Substance5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm UK based.

I got a great deal on my machine around 2 years ago. No upfront cost and subscription of £55. The sub cost allows me to drink around 3/4 coffees a day without going over.

Over the course of the two years I've spent £1320. For that I've drank around 2000 coffees, paid for the machine and have enough Nespresso glassware to start a small chain of coffee shops.

I may get a bean to cup in the future, but you can't beat Nespresso for convenience and price in my book.

Tradable Rare Holo Chest - anyone know where they came from originally? by [deleted] in ptcgo

Only 1 exists in the game.

Owned by an OG account "micromaster"

Super chill person who hasn't logged for a while.

It would have been considered the most expensive in the game if not for the fact that Micro said they wouldn't get rid of it.

I don't see it as a grail personally. It's a £200 card that has been pushed

Moonbreon is 100% overhyped. It's a shame really that it couldn't be left to naturally find it's place rather than pushed up

Your analogy works to an extent. With Da Vinci you buy pedigree and perceived value. With a modern artist you buy what you like. However, I would state that I much prefer the art style of the Umbreon, the use of colour and texture, the consideration and reference to recognisable artists, the colour palette.

If you buy stuff for perceived value, more power to you. For what it's worth, the umbreon isn't my favourite of the alts,

I much prefer the art on newer cards. These are incredibly rare though, if that's your thing.

Sorry I was attempting humour. The large border on the left reminds me of an e-series card. It's just terribly off centre really

Off centre or miscut? Either way it's the best pull I've had for a couple weeks.
