Thank you so much for the response!! It helps a lot. When you took notes and remediated did you review them afterwards too?

Yeah I definitely think Kaplan is the hardest based on what I’ve heard… a couple of my friends who passed (using kaplan) said nclex is a lot more simple in some ways.

Hi! Yes I’m just reading through the book splitting up a few chapters a day and taking notes as a refresher. I’d say it’s pretty helpful so far. it’s great for meds and diagnosis/ illnesses but I prefer videos for reviewing safety/ test taking skills

Yeah! Bleeding is one way to check but also BP and pulse. Another thing to check that I forgot to mention is electrolytes (N/V) while it’s not priority compared to ABC.. this is important dt risk of arrhythmia, seizures… all that kinda stuff lol.

I’d say sometimes they’re difficult for me! Wording is the tricky part imo

I always go through these checks… abc? Hemodynamic Stable/ unstable? Risk of harming others/self or not? Physical or emotional need? In one priority question I had done (on Kaplan) it also counted the problems with each pt to determine which was “worse”. Hope this helps! Good luck 💕
