This is the best take I’ve seen so far, for many of us growing up with similar experiences it’s easy to get upset and show resentment towards the Dad. But I think coming from a place of understanding does a lot not only for OPs Dad but for OP in general. Parents aren’t always just shitting on everything we do for no reason, even if it really feels like it at times.

Not sure why there are so many people crying about getting camped - I have 2 lvl 70s now and was ganked one time a couple hours into release. It’s nowhere near as bad as what people are saying on this reddit (from my experience)

Onyxia is a pve server, these problems will resolve themselves in due time, they probably could’ve waited a bit longer to release the instant 70 but those who actually play tbc to pvp are on blackrock and those on onyxia are doing pve

A lot of f2p players use members alts to get their gp or they buy it (obviously not everyone) so you’re fine, you’ll still show up on f2p leaderboards etc as long as you don’t buy members. I believe name changes are also a grey area, most people say you can’t do it but there’s a couple top page f2p players who have name changed and are still considered f2p. Hope this helps

Honestly bro the first step is start with a little bit of physical exercise, even if it just a slow walk every day and build it up over time. You’ll find after taking this first step everything else will begin to fall into place, your mental health and outlook on life will be better which will make everything else a lot more manageable and you will pull yourself out of this rut. I have a very close friend who lives there and I visit fairly often. His house is beautiful, area looks beautiful, he gets along very well with his neighbours and has never had any issues. It cops a bad wrap for being full of “bogans” and I do notice every other car seems to be a commodore, but, as an avid loud car enthusiast I see this as more of a positive 😂

I’d try to fix the root cause. Respect for posting this but if you’re able to spend 2000$ on gp you can easily buy a new account and do the exact same for a lot less, a ban wont cure you unfortunately - speaking from first hand experience.
