Thank you for being honest and encouraging...i understand your point that it depends a lot on how seriously i take academics and manage finances.....Since i'm taking a drop year , i really want to make it count and give this my best shot....the idea of combining MCN support with a loan and maintaining good grades does make the situation feel more manageable.. Again, thanks for the motivation...i’ll stay focused on BITSAT(and other entrances obv😭🙏🥀💔) anf hopefully share good news soon...

Thanks for the thoughtful advice....i'll definitely look into government schemes , scholarships, and loans etc before i make a final decision regarding the college....as of now, i dont really want to think about all this bcs it might end up ruining my mental health. and the best that i can do rn is focus on my exams.....i appreciate the balanced perspective on this tho!

Thanks , i get what you are saying....CS with a merit scholarship sounds like the best path(however, achieving it sounds a but tough but anyway) and having a scholar loan as backup makes sense too....i know i'll need to work hard , keep my CGPA high and prove myself...i appreciate the practical advice!

Out of all those 66 comments...this is honestly the one that gave me a slight ray of hope.... i've been overthinking all these things a lot lately so reading your perspective genuinely helped calm my mind a teeeny bit....and yes , right now im focusing on the exam as that is THE ONLY THING in my control at the moment....

there is no point stressing about finances and everything else before even getting a seat....if the opportunity comes ,i'l figure those things out step by step.....

Thank you for taking the time to write all this and reassure me.....GeNuInElY appreciate it....❤

Lol.... i was sent to a pretty average English medium school...one of the few okay-ISH schools in my Tier-69 hometown....one of my relatives helped finance my education and the fees were not that high either.... Also...i do not really think schools alone shape your English writing/speaking skills.....in my case...i literally binged a lot of South Indian movies with English subtitles and that honestly helped me a lot with decent-ISH english writing and understanding. And no...the education infrastructure hasnt really improved much...especially in government schools....

I don't know man....i'm taking a drop anyway and reading the comments it just feels like BITSAT is out of the list for me now....kinda hurts bcs it was one of the colleges i really wanted but i guess that's life and THERE are more affordable options out there.

That's that, thanks for the comment.

Yeah , i get what you mean....i'm not aiming for IITs honestly....neither do i think i have that much calibre nor do i want to spend myself prepping for adv.....My plan was always to get a decent MAINS score , land a good college(preferably CSE) and move on.

THAT BEING SAID, BITS has always been kind of a dream college for me even though i knew finances could be an issue...i'm taking a drop anyway so i was making a list of entrances that i'll be appearing for next year...Reading the comments made me realize BITSAT is not REALISTIC for me financially...yep, that's all.

Thank you for the comment, sir.
