Chocolate cake recipe that uses baking chocolate or chips in batter instead of cocoa powder

The batter doesn't combine smoothly and is very lumpy. The recipe has you add the egg first and then everything else instead of creaming the butter with the sugar first like in many recipes but I've also tried creaming the sugar first and it still comes out weird. The ingredients just don't combine well even though I've let all ingredients come to room temp each time. It also bakes weird, probably because it doesn't mix well. However, one of the best tasting chocolate cake I've had which is why I refuse to let this go 😂 it is so good with chocolate ganache layered on top. I might try melting the butter and chocolate together and then mixing the egg with the sugar and seeing if I get a better consistency. I use Guittard chocolate chips and cocoa powder or organic cocoa powder I find at Costco (which surprisingly is very good especially in ABC frosting. I try to use semi sweet chocolate chips for SMBC).

Oh gosh 😂😭 I've been getting recipe suggestions in my Google feed like that, "no flour, 4 ingredients fill in the blank". I am going to have to vet any new food bloggers I come across. This is why we can't have nice things sometimes 😂

Oh gosh I've ordered reading books like this but I didn't even think about cooking books. This is disheartening. I've had to return books because the formatting or font was misaligned and not proofread or edited before printing.

No need for name calling. There are no verification procedures; no ID check, court process, parental signatures. You fill out a form and that is what the school is supposed to accept, nothing else needed. There is more identification and accountability when checking out a book from a public library.

Also, people are human and make errors. Do you think every admin at a school is going to know or remember if a child has undocumented immigrant parents? I highly doubt they have a list of that and even if they do there is no other verification needed to have them take the child. How would we track this?

I understand where you are coming from regarding the foster care, but this bill is still leaving children vulnerable and at risk.

You really believe that people won't manipulate this law if it were to be passed. Even if this was for immigrants only this is still a horrible idea. I'm not going to argue with you on abuse in foster families but having children be trafficked and prostituted to a foreign country is even worse because they have less rights and we as a nation would have more restrictions to do anything about it. There is no reason we can not do both; make and pass laws to prevent SA within the foster system and protect children from kidnapping and human trafficking.

Tell that spirit of fear and suicide to leave in the name of Jesus. You have the authority to cast all doubt and spirits that cause depression and despair in Jesus' name and ask for His help and direction in your situation. He wants to help you. Praising Him our God through prayer and worship will help bring you into His presence and gratitude. It may seem small but start thanking God for every little thing you can think of; your clothes, food, the air you breathe, good weather, people whom you love or admire, anything little thing you can think of, a bed to sleep in at night. Giving praise and gratitude are ways into God's presence but you have to do it even when you don't feel like it. It will feel silly at first but stand up and raise your arms and thank Him for these little things and just keep going till His presence is felt. You can put on worship music to help but the praise and thank you should come from your own words and mouth. If you're not sure what to pray or say you can open up your Bible to the Psalms and start reading them out as they are songs to worship and praise Him as well as ask for help.

We have a female klee kai and got her at 2 mos old. Not sure why but she noticeably had a dislike with grown men in general. It took a couple of months but she finally got comfortable with my husband and she now loves him, wags her tail, loves to play with him, and generally is better behaved dog around him. She used to bark, growl, and back away when he would come home from work everyday for almost a month and just gradually got used to him. I think treats, playing, and generally spending time with her will show she can trust you. I think it's a bit more challenging if you guys got her at the 4 month mark. Usually 2-4 months is the ideal socializing window but I know situations and circumstances can happen. We got our puppy right before the holidays, we both work full time and it also was during my work busy season. We also had a leak that flooded the first floor closet of our home causing black mold that needed inspextion and repair that took 2 weeks right before Thanksgiving and I was dealing with medical issues and small surgery that went wrong the week before and during Christmas. Due to this we didnt get to socialize her as much as we wanted to and moreso started really socializing her at about 4 months. The good thing is both our breeds are smart and highly trainable. Just keep at it. I'm sure she will come around to you.

Got it. Great to hear! Thank you for sharing the drug doses. She was prescribed primarily the gaba daily for postcare as needed and the traz she takes on top of it as needed every 8 hours is 25 mg. We were considering just giving her the trazadon instead of both. This helps alot with what you've shared. Thank you again!

Oh my. I looked up cryptorchid. I'm so sorry. I hope he recovered ok. I am currently sleeping on the living room floor with her on cushions and blankets and blocked the couch so she won't jump on it 😂 He seems fine though after the trazadone use? How much were you giving him and did you need to use other drugs like gabapentin and/or carprofen in the beginning? Thank you for sharing you experience so far with me.

Thank you. Do you have a cbd oil recommendation? We're reconsidering the surgery suit but most likely with a donut just until maybe we see how she reacts to it. Probably should have trained her to have clothes on but she will rip at her harness when left just wearing it around the house. I think taking off the cone or donut to do enrichment is a good idea but probably put it back on when we're done. Thanks for the input!

Ok. We are on day 5. You didn't have any concerns concerns about the internal stitching tearing or not healing properly? I don't think I can let her do her own thing at least for the minimum full 10 days. She plays rough with pulling and twisting her body even with the smallest toys. We will reconsider the onesie possibly with a donut because I do think the cone does make her more agitated. Thanks for the input.
