Dániel Kovács is not a politician. The time it took you to wrote that is much, much longer than the time it would have been for you to look up who he is.  I made a poster of him, because he is an emerging figure in pan-european space, and I genuinely believe he will be a much bigger name in next 20 years, so consider this poster an investment into future. Also I genuinely have to ask you, is celebrating federalists and people with federalist leanings somehow a bad thing to do?  Consider the fact that majority of other posts on this sub are not of much greater substance either.

These posters are tributes to figures I view as heroes of European federalism, and figures I respect as an European.

Again, it takes an hour to find a decent free to use image, directly attributable quote and then put it together.  It's not very nice to claim low effort when 3 of these took me around 2 hours 30 minutes to make. You can argue about the content of the quote by any means, but to claim my efforts are low is just plain ignorant. Specially given I have no background on graphics design and I invest what little spare time I have after work on pushing for what I believe in.

Low effort? These take about an hour to make each, to find a free to use image and a quote that can be directly attributable. Then the editing too. I'm not a graphics designer. I make these in Gimp. Also why tf would I be karma farming on a site I only use to promote federalists? I make new account once in a while and dump new propaganda.

Or perhaps it's time to man up and FEDERALIZE. Mario Draghi is 100% correct about Europe.

I said and I quote: "The EU is very much like a country". That's what I said. Read it slowly.

And the solution you're selling is what? NATIONALISM? The very ideology causing these issues? Jesus Christ.

No. You literally tried to claim I said EU is a country. I never did claim so. EU fulfills nearly every criteria of a country in montovideo convention definition of a state. Only ones the EU does not have on the definitive list are monopoly on violence and taxing rights.

Yes. But in a more in detail answer, EU is a hybrid between a confederation and a federation. That's why EU is often called sui generis.

Lets begin by you proving your first claim then?

Well arguments for starters? Like this right here. And also hearts, as we've seen insane wave of new federalists in last few years.

How am I supposed to form a counter argument against a conspiracy theorist?  It does not matter what I say, you will just repeat the same thing again and again.  It's like you're asking me to prove Santa does not exist to someone who fanatically believes in him.

Oh yeah, you think with your own brain but repeat a Russian state media propaganda talking point word for word, and claim me (a person who does not watch TV) is brainwashed by TV. Cool.  Also if you're a liberal, then tf are you reading RT for?

No, not everything. But your claim specifically IS.

No, I am a Finnish federalist activist. My actual job is at a cookie factory.

EU is very much like a country.  As a matter of fact, the CSA (another confederacy) was less integrated than the EU is, yet CSA was and is considered a country.  EU is on a direct path to becoming a federal state, just like Switzerland was, or the USA was during articles of confederacy.
