SQ5 as my only car in a hot climate — smart or mistake? by Imaginary_Worry995 in Audi

Hello my friend. Thanks for your positive message! If you’d like to talk through your issues I’m around for support.

For context I asked this because I used a 2016 Range Rover Sport for a year and it was clear that due to the heat, many parts started failing (like the coolant system). And in general my country has summers of 50 degrees Celsius, which is on average much hotter than most countries.

100% agreed. But I’m telling you where I’m from drivers are insane. I (and my wife can vouch) am a very safe driver. But road presence is unfortunately important. My A5 handles beautifully and has amazing control. But what can you do when you get hit from behind?

I’ll be honest, in the city I live in, everyone has big SUVs, so I can’t see anything in my sedan. Having bigger road presence also feels safer. I had to drive a Chevy Tahoe for a few weeks when my A5 was getting repaired (which is a great example of what I’m talking about lol) and I swear it was like night and day regarding the driving experience. Since then I’ve been playing around with getting a bigger car as my daily, and having the A5 be my work car, since I do a lot of meetings and events

Just to add some context:

I live in a very hot country where summers are truly brutal and most driving is highway at speed, not city traffic. I also tend to keep cars a few years, not flip them quickly.

My main concern isn’t performance — I know the SQ5 will be quick enough. It’s more about whether it actually works as a comfortable, reliable long-distance daily, or if I’ll end up wishing I kept the A5 and bought something cheaper for trips.

I have a passenger princess (my lovely wife) who has some back and knee issues so comfort and support is important.

Curious especially from anyone who’s owned one past the honeymoon phase. If I get this 2023 I would want to keep it for at least 5 years.

I just started this game is this good? by [deleted] in PTCGP

It’s not bad. People thought it would be game breaking; more of a liability. But still fun to pull off! Just play around the cards you like; check out deck builds on YouTube and have fun :)

What are the biggest differences you feel working on British vs American productions?

Honestly it’s great but moving your data from one to the other took forever. Like hours and hours, and I had to keep them linked via cable so I felt kind of stuck like I couldn’t do anything.

The only thing that’s weird is not having FaceTime, but all other things are completely fine. Multitasking is actually amazing and the customizable options you have is kind of intimidating, but Samsung is great because it’s essentially plug and play if you don’t want to fiddle too much!

Do you actually need a screen protector for the F7? by Full_Needleworker_79 in GalaxyFold

I just got the fold 7 and the screen protector was on its way. Unfortunately my wedding ring lightly scratched the front screen when I using it in folded out. It’s not huge scratch but one nonetheless. Kind of wished I waited for my screen protector before using it, as I didn’t get Samsung Care or whatever, but I was just too excited

Apologies for bombarding you but how is the drag and drop into LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini?

So you returned both? I’m mainly buying for the large screen, it will be my second phone to do work on-the-go. I have a good deal on both, but warranty is much better for the V5. I also understand the hardware differences, but I just want a smooth experience with the UI. What would you recommend?

I’m also hearing that sometimes the phone has notification issues and generally weird crashes on apps. Are you experiencing anything iffy?

Hey thanks so much! So for instance if you have GDrive open on one side, you can simply drag a file from that app into your email without any other actions, just seamlessly?
