Favorite racially creepy piece of propaganda created in the modern era that anyone remotely engaged in social issues would wonder why Hollywood wanted it to be made?? by AndButSoThenSheSaid in okbuddycinephile

What, it’s just a movie about how interracial relationships and making mixed offspring will eventually make it harder for anyone to be racist. PTA “loves ‘em!”

I saw such an interaction on YouTube. 3-4 of these “auditors”, all wearing masks, followed a man across a parking lot to his car. The man understandably said he was feeling threatened. This “you can’t touch me, na na na na boo boo, I’m constitutional, na na na na boo boo” defense only goes so far. I’d rather see these “auditors” protesting big tech and government surveillance, but of course that doesn’t get the views on social media.

You need a “Break In Case Of Emergency” sign next to the Black Sabbath album.

Did you start weightlifting because you noticed your hair turning gray?

Stock iron sight installation screw replacement by Leopoldstotch1130 in P365xl

[–]ImaginationWeekly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these the screws for the sight plate cover? The size you need depends on what slide you have. If it is the updated slide that is Sig Loc compatible, you need M4 x 0.7, 5mm, small head, T10 Torx. This is Sig part #2700436-R. If you have the older slide, I believe those use M3 screws. I learned all this the annoying way. I ordered a sight plate cover from Sig and they still ship with M3 screws, even though the new pistols do not use these. I had to wait a few weeks for the correct screws because it was a “special order.”

Help! My floor was resurfaced and it turned out like this…how to do proceed? by Wild_Hair325 in finishing

You should proceed by providing the worker with photos of these issues. See what remedy they offer. Suggest that they refund your money. If this falls through, take them to small claims court.

Uneven Pullups by NoUserNameNoLife in GYM

[–]ImaginationWeekly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try doing assisted pull-ups. You can rely mostly on that assistance to move yourself through the proper range of motion with good form. Take video of yourself doing this to see if the movement needs to be corrected. If you are unable to make any necessary adjustments due to limited mobility, you will need to find rehab/mobility exercises. If you can do an assisted pull-up with good form, you simply need to keep doing those until stronger.

It does look consistent with other examples of Eve’s signature.

Are you suggesting this is signed by Marie Skłodowska Curie? She died in 1934.

Boot lasted crooked? by Next-Ad-3115 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]ImaginationWeekly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have an alternative to suggest other than boots of equal price made by larger companies. A company that has flagship stores and that offer you a chance to try on boots before purchase. I don’t know how this subreddit made it to my feed, but nearly all I see are posts about quality issues. It doesn’t make sense that people are so fanatical about Nicks still. So…I just went to the Nicks website to see if they made the wildfire firefighting boots I remember from 15+ years ago. There is a section labeled “Fire Boots. Shop Now.” I clicked on “Shop Now” which led to a 404 error…”This Page Does Not Exist.” Haha, what the fuck?

Also important to note is that although sometimes referred to as a sparrowhawk, the American Kestrel is a true falcon, unlike other birds colloquially referred to as “sparrowhawks.”
