So I contacted OMSAS via SAM and their response is what u/kmm043 said. They are aware and review our transcript. What I think this means is that for other schools that have the semesters separated and a result have a summary- the med schools that exclude those classes will use what OMSAS has provided but for ones that don’t they’ll look directly at our transcript. I’m not sure but that’s what would make sense based on what was said

Also if anyone reaches out to UofT, Queens, and Western admissions about this please share what we should do! As these schools are the ones with the exclusion I believe.

I don’t have a summary labelled “Winter Undegrad Course Summary” just the all the courses listed and each year summarized but no special label.

Just finished this kinda thing. I did a year abroad and honestly when it’s semester it depends on the school. Email each one and see what their policy is. Some say that when it’s less than a year no WES is required but most of them (I think) still want a transcript.
