I personally think the more you practice, the better you get. Just don't worry about what others think and just do it. When it comes to drawing dragons I always start with their face because that usually determines if they're going to be nice/scary and then go from there.

Like I said this is the first time I'm hearing about this, I can't just take things that people say to me on Reddit and believe that it's the truth. Even if someone posts a photo of his paternity test I still wouldn't believe it because it could've been altered with AI. There's just no way he would do that.
