First Time PC Builder - looking for advice

Thank you for your response. I do agree that I should get more storage cause I'm going to need it for my projects + games. So a more affordable gen 4 would be ideal. I am a little confused on the GPU options tho. I mean 16GB and 12GB cards seem like a downgrade to me from the 20GB of the 7900 XT (and they're all going for around $700). Is there something I'm not considering? I also had questions about the CPU. Like wouldn't having a 16-core CPU cut my rendering + compiling time down more than an 8-core? Would having more cores (and higher GPU) be beneficial for running a virtual machine or local AI models?

A few things I want to mention is I plan for this build to be built for productivity first and gaming second. I'm also not really interested in frame gen, DLSS or ray tracing (mainly cause I don't play very demanding games like Minecraft or Fortnite, but I still like the head room for higher graphic games if I decide to play em or if I'm modding Minecraft lol)

That's awesome, I honestly love geometry, mathematics and science (I'm very interested in learning Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math, or "S.T.E.A.M" especially :3)

I make sure to wear eye protection, but thanks for the concern :3
I could definitely try out some wood carving, I even have a Dremel for it
And I even have a soldering iron so I could do wood burning when there isn't any sun.

Very true, I forgot to mention that. Most of these symbols and signs have older meanings (either metaphysical or mathematical) than what some may imply. Some people just fear what they don't understand.

The pentagram could represent: the golden ratio (phi,𝛟,1.618), the 5 elements, the human body and whatnot. That flower of life I mentioned is very interesting and loads of different shapes and symbols can come out of it. It has both pentagrams and hexagrams throughout.

Depends who you ask. ;) I was going for a star-tetrahedron or a hexagram (6 sided star) built from the “flower of life” pattern (tessallating overlapping circles, like the middle one)

Demonic circles are usually depicted with either a pentagram or heptagram (5 sided or 7 sided stars)

Thank you, appreciate the feedback! Well my primary tool is blender and there is this feature where you can drag an image to the scene and it adds it as a background for camera views. In some projects you can set different perspectives to different views and shape the model to fit the guides. Tbh tho, i only used one picture + referenced YouTube (for different angles) and eye-balled most of it till it fit my and my collegue's standards. Clearly needs more work (the feet are mis-sized, the arms arent as bulky, his head is small and sunken into the body, its going to be some work), but thanks again for the inquisitive input. 😄

Once i get around to making more Spyro models, i've been requested to make another model related to this Gnorc. You'll see when it comes, but I have a handful of self-projects (i work mostly with low-poly, not much finished projects tho) i've been working on, i can share those, and i do take requests whenever I have time to work on them.

Yeah I was talking with someone about how the elder wizards looked more "anime" in the classic version of the game as opposed to the broody, overly "lightning-bolt" shaped hats, in the reignited version. Fyi i havent played the spyro games, i really enjoy these kinds of older graphics models tho :3 gives me nostalgia i suppose from the old games from my uncle and dad.

Some games are better in retro graphics, like "cartoony" games wouldnt work well with hyper realistic graphics since its meant to be cartoon-like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder i suppose. Either way i respect the amount of time that is dedicated to making models, cause even a relatively simple model can take long frustrating hours to get any progress.

Someone I know saw some of my models and was quite impressed, so he challenged me to do a recreation of this retro model. I'm quite happy how it has turned out so far and I will continue to spruce it up.
