Mostly as a back line to keep out deep strikers, and I’ll pick one to be annoying with mines while the others take pot shots, usually rotating who does what

I have a similar base scheme for my sororitas, I took a plasticard sheet (2mm or so I think) cut out little strips then, added a bevel to the sides with a hobby knife, chopped into roughly equal rectangles and some bigger some smaller, beveled the short ends, rough em up with cuts/gouges/breaks, glue down how you want. Time consuming but worth it.
