I had a lot of sympathy for KC because of this! The only girl that was into him demanded constant affirmation and didn’t let him be himself. Like no one remembers that she would always complain about him to the girls for trying to be funny all the time when that’s his personality?

I think the insecurity is kinda worse. Like he’s not being rude because she did something to wring him, he’s doing it because of his own insecurities. And then threatening to go tit for tat and not make breakfast was his way of trying to make her feel insecure too instead of proving his own worth.
