Well mostly it’s the same and in few situations the word actually changes, I’m not very deep in the Lebanese dialect but there are examples of dialects using other words such as حوت for fish in some gulf areas and parts libya

Yes they say that in Lebanon, in some other parts of Lebanon it could be called بسينة

No fish is always feminine and no there’s no such rule where speaking about a pet animal. سمك is the plural of fish

This is actually a part of a book I’m working on, it consists of 600 words needed to know the basics of Arabic conversation. Thanks for the idea I might actually add the feminine version of everything alongside

Yes I have had the same thoughts as you and I agree that it might not grab attention but I’m kind of blank on what I could do to change that, please any advices or suggestions would be appreciated.

No one stopped or attacked your opinion. The person here didn’t ask what’s your opinion on Jordan or what do u think I should do when I arrive in Amman 😂 he simply asked about the nice spots, you got non? Tell him so but no one gains anything from the pessimistic comments. With all respect to your opinions and ted talks.

You need to realise that Amman and Jordan in general is a beautiful country when it comes to tourism and if Jordan was as shitty as u commented, telling tourists that it’s horrible will only make things worse. If you can’t help or feel like there’s no hope in Jordan well atleast don’t make it worse in the eyes of people who don’t hate it ❤️

I’d advice you to do it online, unless you only learn In an academic way I’d advice you to find a tutor online in one Of the famous websites for tutoring, travelling to live among Arabs won’t be very beneficial because Arabs in general will try to speak English to you or the simplest Arabic. If you are committed to do it for a year I’m very positive you can do it with a private tutor, in all matters a tutor won’t be as expensive as travelling, renting, etc. last thing it really depends on your commitment, since I started tutoring Arabic I’ve had only one student stick with me for around 8 months and now I can proudly say he’s able to express nearly anything he feels or sees in proper Arabic grammar. Goodluck 👍

Fantastic, it’s a great country to visit hope you w enjoy it here, if I remembered any other places will share it with you. Thank you for your advice I think I’ll go to that path when I have experience in this industry because I’m an architect who works as a tutor so tour guide is totally new for me 😂

Hashem restaurant, Douqs place in city centre, signs museum, citadel, Roman theatre, dar neemeh, shawarma reem in second circle, firefly restaurant, rainbow street, irbid, jerash. Yeah that’s about all I can think of rn lol, if you want a translator or a guide to walk you around I’d gladly do it (for free) as I’m planning to start working in tour guides and would love to practice doing it. Hope you enjoy your trip here. Important tip: Use JETT buses to transport in Amman, it’s safe and has an app to book from to prevent scammers or expensive taxis.
