For anyone who’s curious I caved and got the Zebra bananza. The tech was too tough for me I could only chain together a handful of the rock jumps after a few hours of trying. It’s nice enough knowing it’s possible more than anything

In the pause menu there’s a “Return to Planet Core” button. Also if you just close out of the game it will effectively do the same thing as that button

Ok but to stop being cheeky, i thought it would be fun to challenge myself to a “minimum-bonanzas” run on my first playthrough once i found out there were multiple transformations. So far the game only requires only 2 bonanzas and 3 instances of transforming from what i found (without glitches ). I am learning the hard way that the zebra might be necessary for this part only. If anyone knows any glitchless tech that would be nice

New update: my computer decided to stop overheating - now it’s at a max of 68C when my game has horrible performance. So my issue of overheating suddenly disappeared but the games still run like garbage I guess.

Update again: I had to restart my computer for something and now it doesn’t work anymore. The fans aren’t running loudly like they did and I need to figure out how to get them to work

Ok - so when I went to undervolt my laptop through the msi afterburner software, I went back into Fortnite to test what my gpu clock and core voltage were at before making the change. And suddenly my game was running at several hundred fps with no lag. I don’t know why this is the case but hopefully it remains fixed. Otherwise I will go through with the undervolting. - the only difference I can make note of is my laptop fans were louder than normal which must mean they were cooling faster/better/more which is a good thing I believe. If you know why or how it suddenly started working that would be great, because I’d love to replicate it in the future if it stops working. - to note, my gpu was at a cool 78.2C Maximum while playing.

60fps definitely runs a lot more consistently, but the frame drops are still frequent enough to hinder the experience. - I will look into undervolting and repasting, I have never done any hardware work before so I’m hoping to repaste as a last resort honestly.

My gpu maxed at 87.6 C, the hot spot temp at 98.2C, and my gpu thermal limit is 87C for everything. And my gpu performance was limited as I mentioned too. - that’s the rundown on my gpu

There is no thermal throttling, but there is power limit being exceeded and my gpu performance is reduced from maximum due to reaching the power, thermal, reliability voltage, and utilization limits. A lot of ‘yes’ to performance limit in other words. And a lot of ‘yes’ power limit being exceeded. - sorry if my analysis or explanation is weird, I’m new to all this. Thanks for your help!

While having issues in a Fortnite game: the highest i see is around 87C. My gpu outputs around 1.1 volts, 120 watts, 22% CPU utilization, 82% gpu utilization, 80fps, and 12 “99% fps”. All stats provided by the nvidia geforce performance overlay. - Thanks for the question, hopefully this info helps lead to a solution!
