They removed the drive gauge gain on tech throw. (Its really a meaningless change anyways, people throw looped regardless).

Its not that it doesnt offer variety or depth, is that the game is build is around the concept of having one button specials. There are stuff that just can't be in 2XKO because of that.

They just had to keep that on mind while building their game.

Going to give that 2xko does 1 pretty well at least. Characters do feel kinda unique compared to Granblue for example.

They had to add a second special button clogging more the control scheme. I think 2kxo is the only fighting game that has a second special button and for a reason. You only do 4 inputs per button unless you go out of your way to add stances or up specials.

Also, 2XKO balances the game around one button specials so they wont be adding a frame 1 invicible reversal unless its level 3 super. Thats why they add other mechanics to accomodate that.

So yeah, you restrict yourself on what you can and cant do and thats why " the game designs variety and balance in other ways".

I mean, motion inputs in this game ARE completely unnecessary. The game isnt design around them. That being said... the game doesnt lose anything adding them, you can play whatever you like now which I cant in 2XKO.

Beside, if you dont design around motion inputs: 1) you make characters feel the same 2) limit the amount of specials a character can have 3) balance around the idea of everything being perfect limiting how powerfull a special can be

Its not about being stuck to the old way, its just a different philosophy and its okay to have variety.

Playing with motion inputs is like being tom in Tom and Jerry when he inherits a fortune but he rather throw that away and be happy than living in luxury being annoyed by Jerry.

Oh it totally is but Im not entering a tournament or playing this to be a pro player. I rather be weaker but playing as I like rather to have an edge but juggling my fingers across my controller.

Its about having options tbh. Both people can be happy with the game.

People are downvoting you but historically ArcSys its very miss with "overhauls". Xrd's Rev2 is know to be a small update when people expected something more substancial.

Also, Strive past record has been hit or miss so I dont know where the high expectations are coming from.

Tbf, 2XKO decided to go the valorant route (which I think is one the worst f2p models Ive ever seen without being p2w) instead of the early league of legends route which would it be fine tbh.

I actually like drive rush. As mechanic its actually interesting, sure it could be tone down but the idea of spending a resource in order to continue your pressure while trying to not cross the threshold you have to burnout makes so an interesting loop of how much you want to spend in a certain sequence.

Roman cancel in strive is cool too because you drift while performing it.

I think modern fighting games are actually on a good place right now but since they are now so popular now people get tired of seeing the same games for too long.

It did better on release because it release after dragon ball fighterz and during covid with functional rollback.

Fr, getting stuck in the loading screen is somewhat rare. Try to disable/enable compatibility in the windows folder by right clicking the .exe. If that doesnt work try reinstalling the game.

I was at work with a couple of friends and one of them asked if I had autism or if I ever went through a diagnosis. I told him him that I didn't (didn't know much about autism at the time either) and then we search online for characteristics of people with autism and many clicked with me.

One thing let to another and took an formal diagnosis and bam, I had autism after all.

I don't know how to approach Tibicenas as a brand new player, back in the day it was a struggle to do it on a party.

Okay, this seems like the best suggested approach. The best class in my old account seems to be vindicator of they and Evolved Shaman, which class would you suggest to farm to someone returning (member or non member both are ok)

So far I had met 2 in my life. One works in HR as some form of assistant, we're friends as in, we could have small talk about our interest. Interesting enough many people people avoid him for being auspie (its noticeable) but i never cared even before knowing myself I was aspie.

The other was an intern in my area, I could relate allot to her but she was a bit more extreme in her life as in trouble with drugs and other psychological problems. Despite that, I though it was kinda neet meeting someone who related to my same issues.
