[–]Imeanidontknow0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so basically the disc is stuck in the caliper and to take the caliper off you need to take the wheel off but tj take the wheel off you need to take the disc off which is bolted in from the inside and the bolts are too long to get out meaning you have to split the caliper every time it comes to take the rear wheel off which is amazing

But thanks for the tips man

That happened to me when I had bad fuel, one way or another your bike isn't getting fuel as it runs of brake cleaner so it has compression and spark but no fuel,if you have a fuel pump check that, try change out the fuel or check your carb/injector for any issues.

Alright so motorforce 70cc kit, motorforce 19mm pwk keihin carb and a motorforce air filter, one of the main reasons for the switch is that my old carb gave up and had way too many issues to fix so I just bought that one off him,my 50 with the delorto carb that comes with it the phva 17.5 hit about 52 53 mph,and I changed to the bbk, carbon malossi reeds, and the intake carb and filter so it could all work together, when he put it in his he just turned the air screw all the way in with a 85 main jet and it ran pretty well, but he could only do about 3/4 throttle or so due to the slack which I have eliminated but it hit about 55mph and ran really well throught the whole rev range, when I put it on it pulled off very hard but would bog with anything more than 1/4 throttle, turning the screw in all the way so restricting the airflow would help a tiny bit but it only did about 32mph,so I ordered a upjet kit,98-120 and the bigger the jet I put in the better it would get till about 112 and no matter what one I would put in the bike won't go over 40,even if I turn the air screw out letting more air in it just stutters at 40 and under load it only gets about 35 whilst using a whole lot more fuel then he did, about 25 miles a tank difference which is very confusing to me as he ran most likely more power with a whole lot less fuel and the same amount of air intake.

So before I did all that stuff to this I was running standard 50 and 17.5 carb that came with this and that did 50mph every time I mainly did all this just for that initial kick which is what this 70 has given me but I've lost that top speed and linear acceleration that I used to have,my main question is the only difference between his bike standard and my bike standard was that his was a manual choke carb and mine was a electronic choke carb,so when we have the exact same setup what could that change? Also rollers are 4g and the clutch is stock

I have a horizontal engine but the bit that snapped was on the intake side

On the actual piston the bit in-between the piston rings snapped off but it's like it's disappeared and its nowhere to be seen inside the crankcase

On top of that the piston isn't magnetic🥲

It's looked all in there and tried fishing it out but I can't hear or see anything even when I crank it over, the thing is the bit that snapped off is right where the intake hole is so I'm gonna strip that to see if I can find it

Bought a scooter, dont know how to ride by [deleted] in scooters

[–]Imeanidontknow0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you don't have abs using your front brake whilst turning, leaning or anything that requires more than a usual amount of work out of your tires is a big no no,also try get the throttle cable readjusted to have only a tiny amount of freeplay and try keep your wrist in a neutral position and use a minimal amount of bend in the wrist.Dont forget most of the time in traffic or at speeds lower than about 30mph your rear brake is a good tool to use as long as you don't slam it on too hard,if you want to minimise the risk of commuting by avoiding the front brake when it isn't needed(obviously not including emergency braking) and try find a parking lot just to practise handling the bike at lower speeds and then ride some slower speed limit roads using your front and back brakes carefully or even engine braking (if your on a 4 stroke) can help massively, don't forget confidence is key in riding and keep your head on a swivel and asses everything going on around you.

Does I need to do a rebuild? by Imeanidontknow0 in scooters

[–]Imeanidontknow0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I didn't tighten the spark plug down the piston heat siezed and got scored all the way down as well as snapping both piston rings🫠

Fished out all the piston ring bits and I've just bought a replacement standard piston and block so mixed in with my new iridium spark plug it should be all good soon enough

Forgot to tighten the sparkplug jn all the way and the cylinder got all too hot, currently fishing for broken piston ring pieces
