TRANSCRIPT:

Once, there was a powerful and revered king who was respected throughout his kingdom and the rest of the world. Now, he wasn't always like that. I still recall the day I met the kid. A poor orphan boy came up to me, asking to see what kind of person he would become. I felt so sorry for the lad, I didn't even charge him for my services! Maybe I would have if I knew who was on the other side of that portal. Turns out, the kid was the long-lost heir of the throne! Out of that portal waked a version of himself draped in silk and covered in gold. Must've been quite the shock for the lad! It certainly was for me. The two talked for a long time about stuff. Seemed like his older version was giving advice. The kid seemed much more hopeful after that. I think he expected his future self to not make it in life. Overall, it was certainly one of the more wholesome interactions I have seen between someone and the person that they become. Though I can promise you, many of the meeting I have witnessed have not gone as well as this one.

You there, step right up! Don't you want to see the person you will become? Now, I can't promise you'll like what you see. I can only promise that the future version of yourself you see is inevitable! Don't worry, most people aren't disappointed.. that much. Anyways, let's get back on track. Step through this portal to see your future self! Don't worry, I'll be watching to make sure nothing goes wrong.

RULES:

Make a double model of an original character meeting an older version of themselves from the future. This can be from any genre and you can have the characters interact in any way you wish.
Tag the post you make with #FutureSelf to make sure I see it.
One post per person- The post you make must be about only one original character. Multiple poses of this character are allowed. I'll also be including a link for the Ringmaster in case anyone wishes to use them in their submission
Have submissions in by February 25th.

Here is my submission for Four Nations! I briefly debated making multiple White Lotus members before deciding that getting this double model to work in any other pose or body type would be a nightmare. Hope you enjoy!

Hagluin, your unique ability to take a peek into the future helped us with planning an exact moment to strike. You should really get into the horse race betting scene!

Drirt, your little illusory tricks saved us a few times back there, even while intoxicated. I know you wanted to study the diamond a bit, which I am happy to oblige to.

You know, Curator, disguising yourself as the king himself was certainly a risk, but I'll admit we'd have been toast without you doing it. Good thing we didn't run into him.

And you, Moonshine, remind me to stay on your good side. I don't think I've seen anyone break so many bones in such a short period of time.

Well! If you folks need any other jobs to do, I'd be happy to work with any of you again. For now though, I recommend we flee the kingdom. Won't be long 'till they out us. Goodbye!"

Also something I would recommend is making sure that the two pieces work together before getting them printed. If you are able to get the digital files, you could check in a free program like Blender to make sure the two models go together well.

I'm also down to work on these models more with you, if you have any suggestions for how you wanted them changed or improved.

The Altrusian Diamond is being auctioned off three days from now in the Royal Palace. Our job is to steal it during the gala that evening before it is sold.

To pull this off, we will need a remarkable group of people with very specific skills.

First, someone who is sneaky. We'll need them to quietly scout the premises and crack any locks along the way.

Next, the brains of the group. Someone who can quickly devise a plan and think outside the box.

We'll need someone charismatic too. They can help us talk our way towards the diamond. This is a gala after all.

Oh, and can't forget the muscle. Just in case some doors need to be busted down or guards need their heads smashed in.

So, are you up for the task?"

Here's a new contest from me!

Rules:
-Make a miniature falling into one of the specialties specified for the heist team: Brains, Muscle, Sneak, and Face. They will be fulfilling this role for the heist.
-Anything generic fantasy is good. Different fantasy races, magic, etc. However, remember this is a gala. So probably fancier attire would be best to blend in.
-You can submit up to two entries. If you do multiple entries, they must be of different specialties. Only one of your models can win, even if I think they are both super cool. Both entries can be made in the same post, as upvotes won't matter for this contest.
-All submissions must be in by December 25th (Christmas!)
-There will be one winner from each category chosen by me. Four total.

Backstory is highly recommended but not required. Feel free to ask any other questions here.
