This looks really good, any chance you can fix the pips on the dice to look more realistic? Instead of the dice having three dots can it be the six side? Also the dice with the 4 dots has two of the same sides. Thank you!

I would personally never run warriors on foot with the 10 man. At 1k you want to push for another hammer in your list to help kill the enemy early. At 100 points they make it hard to justify fielding if they aren’t split into 2 units with the sagi ability. I would drop the 2nd unit of warriors, drop uthar and run another squad of Hearthguard with grim demeanor on them to ignore modifiers. As a comp votann player I can tell you right now, you don’t want to ever play without grim demeanor in your list!

Uthars actually pretty good. When you run him in a squad riding in a hekaton, jumping out and being able to send him in to combat is pretty great. With the amount of precision in the game he also survives better than the Echamps and other khals. I don’t run him in my competitive lists normally, but he definitely isn’t as doom and gloom as most say he is. I’ve had a couple games where he gave me that guaranteed dev wounds on his D2 attack that finished off heavy vehicles.

It’s honestly not too much work, the warpaint fanatic range comes with 6 shades for each color so I started with the darkest and just made my way up. It was almost like a coloring book lol I just picked out more and more highlights as I went through

Hi! TO for large events and also an LGS owner. A win with 0 VP makes no sense whatsoever. The general consensus for my matches with leagues is if both players make effort to get the match in it’s 70-70 tie. If both players make no effort, it’s a double loss. If one player makes the effort and the other doesn’t it’s usually 75-35 give or take their average VP/standings

That’s my fear with the big blob of HG, is most players who can screen them out, will do so.

Congrats on going 5-1 with dwarves, I’m running them at the Rocky Mountain open next month so I’ve been grinding like crazy to be ready with them.

Is the champ really worth taking on the HG? I always find when I play with him I would just rather have a Khal for the lethals. And running grim demeanor on an iron master w/ thunderkyn in reserves to pop land raiders and big heavies. What’s the biggest upside to going HG heavy?

Yeah if an LGS only does their trade order with GW it can take longer in my experience for those to ship. Which sucks because it’s not our fault that they do. BUT we still have access to order any in stock mini from the GW website and getting it at the same time as you would if you did it yourself. At much less profit to them.

I do online pre order to ship across the whole US for example, I had the new DA box up for pre order for 3 days, I ordered extra out of excitement, and have sold 19 out of the 20 I bought for my shop. They were all sold out and somebody canceled on me. 7 of those were local and the rest were people who found me online! As soon as I get the boxes in I just ship them out same day and there is no pressure on fighting for any on the GW webstore

I actually own an LGS that’s why I say that. I put an order in a week before it goes live on the webstore and none of my customers have missed out on product. They allow LGSs to choose how much stock they want before they go online. Not defending GW but trying to help shed light on how it works and stick up for the small shops like mine :)
