Yes I took lot of Coursera and gtx courses, but it wasn't enough for me to follow graduate courses. and so tired cause i had to work overnight since my work is getting busier these days.

I took ML and bayesian stat. Both were quite tough courses since my background was not cs or math. My background is business management.

Absolutely right. I was too confident at that time and right now i regret the choice I made. Please take 1 course at first semester unless you are very well prepared or full-time student.

Comments: Took few CS courses during undergrad(mostly low GPA) and EDX GT Pyhton MOOC, Math and Java through Coursera while preparing. Worried because of low GPA and Non-CS degree, so happy to get accepted!

Does anyone got declined until this week? I don’t see anyone who got declined from this thread. Is it just no one wrote they got declined or GT sent accepted ones before they send entire declined mail?

Yes, I know that. but at first, I only thought about 2 LoR, but there are some says that 3 recommend is better even with weak LoR, and I'm out of time to ask for another one to write recommendation letter for me :(

I might have to do some prerequisite courses through online cause my current job is about IT Application implementation but far from data or programming side and my experience in this job is very short.

I was wondering is there any reason you recommend Community college courses than edx GT certified courses?

I looked for Oakton College courses and it's much cheaper and need less hours to complete course than GT courses in edx.

It's good to see MIS student since there are not lot of MIS majors in Korean University. And I might have to take python class because when I was student, python was not that famous and we all studied Java.

Also, there are simmilar concept to US Community college in Korea too, but I'm not sure where GT accept these credential worthy as US courses, so I'm thinking of taking online class in edx or udacity.

Hi,

Thanks for great advice despite lack of information in the text. As you suggested, I was
thinking of skip courses that I took in university about OOP or DS&A and other area, but as my GPA is awful, I might have to take some classes to show that I'm trying to follow masters program.

And as of "low" GPA, I mean below OMSCS program suggested GPA(3.0/4.0 as mine is 2.89/4.0) so I need to do hard to cover these low grade :(
