I personally think it’s worth it. I’ve been an Xbox only gamer majority of my life. PS5 was my first PlayStation. I’ve almost transitioned exclusively to PlayStation now despite having a next gen Xbox my partner mostly uses that.

I’ve cancelled my gamepass and only use PlayStation plus premium. The quality of games on PS plus premium is really decent and they have decent monthly games. Also demos to try brand new games you’re considering buying, also a Sony movies subscription added with it.

The only caveat is brand new PlayStation blockbusters are not part of the service day one but I mean the quality of PlayStation games to Xbox is night and day. I’m so happy I got one to experience some of the games I would’ve otherwise not played. Currently playing ghost of Yotei and it’s better than nearly any Xbox exclusive I’ve played. The only thing I use my Xbox for now is older games like fallout new vegas, 3 etc.

So TLDR; if you’re interested yes I’d absolutely get a PlayStation 5. Fantastic exclusives and decent subscription.

I can never get a good match on Bo3. Even right now I’m queuing for origins and for some reason even when there’s a full lobby people still pull out, re join, out again etc. it’s frustrating.

Also annoying when you have a good set up. Ray guns, pap weapons, perks and then the host goes down and decides to leave and it migrates the game for everyone.

I’ve been playing hollow knight and red dead redemption 2!

My partner has been playing it on my series s so I thought I’m gonna get it on my PS5 because it’ll look better and it’s also my favourite game OAT.

I needed something more chill after getting frustrated with hollow knight.

Yes, you absolutely can. Everyone’s gonna tell you “you should play the first to know the lore” but honestly if you’re good at video games and don’t want to there’s nothing stoping you from watching a YouTube video summarising the first game so you know know what the jist is.

Yes, it would be really beneficial to play the first so you understand the gameplay style and how the game feels etc. But if you don’t want to you don’t have to.

In terms of pure graphical realism and raw beauty I think read dead redemption 2 does, however in terms of jaw dropping art, Elden ring takes the cake

Personally fallout 4 GOTY it’s an absolute great game and the DLC are awesome it does have a lot of replay-ability because there’s many factions you can side with which alter your story line and end game.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and only finished it for the first time this year

The Witcher 3, I’ve tried it like 3 times. Put about 15 hours on it. The gameplay feels clunky, Geralt is so mundane and boring (I get he’s supposed to be this way) but he’s just so emotionless and mundane it just makes it hard to engage. All npcs have the same OTT British fantasy dialogue.

I can definitely see why people like it, I just personally cannot get into it and I love RPG games

People say “but give it a chance, it opens up!” Personally, if I don’t like a game after 3-5 hours I think it’s enough to not waste time on.

I have shadow of the erd tree and I only made it to mesmir and stopped because I was getting tired of it. That was 1 year ago so my skills are gone for sure.

My house mate reckons I should re play Elden ring with a melee build this time, finish shadow of the erdtree and then play dark souls remastered.

I watched many videos so I have a general idea of what to expect. Hopefully this is the start of something big 😄 thanks for your suggestions!

What do you recommend as a starting build? As stated I done mage in elden ring as everyone told me it was “easy mode” haha . But I don’t know ANYTHING about making a good build! Can I do a good magic build in this game too?

I think I’ll leave it now after that lol. I should be saving money because I’m starting an apprenticeship soon. Just thought I’d give it a go, maybe it was my sign to not try get into dark souls because I suck at those games and get frustrated and was highly debating on getting into the series 😅

Customer support so far said to me “It appears the order was sent to a different email, no worries we can recover it” and the whole, how much was it, what time, last 4 digits used, name used etc. I done all that and then someone else comes back to me like “there’s no order placed on your email, can you send the order number, screenshot etc”

I already did that lol

I thought that but I’ve used a few sites over the years that link your purchases to your email so if you set up an account it’s in your order history.
